My Spring Into More Feminine Styles (Pun Intended)

I guess if there’s any a time to get a little extra dolled up, it’s spring! 🌸🌷🌸🌷 Helllooo garden parties, bridal showers, ladies brunches and obvi 👉flower making workshops (😂😉 tossed that one in there because we all know, at this point, it’s a real thing).

This is definitely one of the “fancier” looks I’ve worn in awhile, (funny because it’s probably a normal level of dressed up for most girls). But I’m not a girly girl, so anything that involves bows or kitten heels feels fancy to me! It’s funny that a change of shoe and a luxury knit jacket can make me feel alllll the womenly feels, definitely sophisticated above my years.

And a very luxurious spring jacket at that, because St. John Knits definitely costs a pretty penny. 😬 But, if you’re going to invest in a high-quality outer layer for the new season, than a visit to St. John is a must – they absolutely nail lightweight layers.

Florals or not, come spring, I always find my style taking an extra girly turn, no doubt to combat the masculinity my wardrobe faces during winter…craving some femme like a pregnant lady who can’t have wine! haha. But when I laid eyes on these bow slingback pumps, who wouldn’t! 🎀🤭

Plus, it’s fun to go the little extra mile sometimes to overdress, let the world know I showed up today. TAKE ME SERIOUSLY. haha. JK, that’s a tad aggressive and not the vibe of this dainty garden party look! 💁‍♀️
