Recently I had the pleasure of attending the opening party of the Axiom Hotel, a brand new hotel downtown (right across from the crazy cable car tourist zone). The hotel is super high tech, pet friendly, and a modern sleek design with a twist of historic San Francisco. But when I heard they have a happy hour I was instantly more intrigued… Obviously because it involves shoveling booze down my throat at lower cost 😜 and because, as a local, it’s the biggest part of this opening I can take advantage of!
Pretty sure I blame the wider silhouettes of current trends (not just the change in season), for getting me all hot and bothered in the morning frantically searching for the right jacket to wear! I find myself begging, hoping.. praying… wishingggg for some shorter cropped jackets to magically be hanging in my closet. So far, no luck. 😓
Well all that wishing was answered when I found J’Amy Tarr’s outerwear line. 🙌🙌
I actually cannot believe it’s May already, like wtf. But with the beginning of this beautiful month comes another beautiful holiday… Cinco de Mayo!!! (Although for some of us maybe this day is a bit less beautiful…yeah, I’m talking to you on your 2nd Mexican Bulldog 😬) But since college days are over, I’m trying to stay on the classy side this year with this pretty pink layered, Mezcal Paloma! 💁🍹
Today is a VERY exciting day.😄 Today marks 1 year since the launch of Chasing Kendall!!!! The year literally went💨POOF because I swear to god it was just last week when I was sitting in my living room, popping a bottle of 1994 Dom on this very night (yeah I’m classy AF✨😜👑) But what a wild ride it’s been! 🎢
I figured this would be a great chance to uncover some fun facts about yours truly, that you most DEF don’t know (or maybe you’ve picked up on a few if you follow this blog as closely as my parents LOL – love you both😘).
So what do you wanna know?!?! Hmmmm letsssss seeeeeee…. Continue Reading
It’s basically been a year (on Thursday! 🎉) since launching Chasing Kendall and I’ve always prided myself on keeping it real. And sh*t gets super real when you’re busy AF, rushing around the house in the morning, no time for showers or that coat of mascara…
Well, nothing is more real than the thought process of landing in this outfit… Continue Reading
WOW yesterday at Cider Summit was a BLAST.💃 Not only did I walk away with way to many new ciders but also just an overwhelming feeling of pure joy with the cider community. Less pretentious then the craft beer community and you can really tell theres so much happiness and passion around what they do – “Take it seriously but not too seriously” kinda attitude, and I’m obsessed. 😄😄
Crazy to think a year has gone by since I went to this festival, became a “cider convert” and covered it as my first “official” blog post. While last year I had no expectations but also certain expectations about what I “thought” cider tasted like (I was wrong btw), this year I went back with a different mindset: wallow in the environment, meet brewers, and find the top new ciders…and I did just that! 🍎🍻🍐🍻😋
So my top ciders (in no order) for this year’s Cider Summit are as follows:
This week manifested as a “brand to know” kinda week….apparently. Cause today I NEED to tell you about Suja Juice.
Here’s the deal: sometimes I just DON’T feel like drinking water okay!!?!! Does that happen to anyone else? It musttt. Like I knowww I need to drink more, but just can’t bring myself to do it. So I remedy that situation with flavored water! 😊 And Suja’s “Go Lightly” line of drannnk is exactly that. Low in calories but high in flavor, it’s the perfect way to hydrate and get some nutrients in my system.
