So did I not say I was going to recommend some ciders after going to this Cider Fest?? I know you probably don’t even remember that considering it was my first post and 4 months ago…but yes, I believe I ddiiiiiddddd. Sorry, it only took ALL summer lol but here, now, I deliver you the perfect summer cider!

Best part about this cider?! It’s not tooo sweet! Let me reiterate that, IT’S NOT TOO SWEET. I came to realize after that Cider Festival that ciders aren’t allllll a terribly sweet, low alcohol drink juice. Lots can be higher in alcohol, and very dry. Sometimes even lighter/dryer than champagne! Soundings being example #1 of many newer dry, crisp (8.5%ABV) ciders. 👍

TASTE TEST: Pours lighter then I expected/remembered. Opaque, pale yellow.  Superrrr light and veryyy dry. Refreshing. Crisp. Bitter. Unfiltered? Def taste apples, but duh. Maybe pear? Wood. Pine. Or is that just Tahoe? (yes Tahoe, disclaimer: no this was not shot on pier 39 😜) No I’m not imagining it, there’s some earthiness there. Lemons even. Lightly carbonated. Drink colddddd a MUST. 

I learned it the hard way (since I was photographing in the sun) by the time I tasted it was not ice cold and so I HIGHLY recommend you drink it fresh from the fridge…or really the cooler haha. Because let’s be real, Soundings was made for an afternoon on the sand or on the dock or on the _____ (insert surface near body of water). 😎🌊☀️
