After catching all the shows in between Coachella weekends and now going to a show tonight at The Independent… I quickly realized a certain (frequent) life pattern. The need for outfit flexibility from work life to play life. But not just a “passable” work outfit that’ll get you through the day and coast you into evening. But rather, how to quickly make an inappropriate work outfit for a reallllll night out hehe. After being in the office all day, in just 30 seconds I went from working graphic designer to concert jamming gal. Freeeeedom. 😎💃
I love subtly feeding the energy of my night’s agenda into my outfit when getting dressed in the morning. Hence why I gravitated to this old Yelle concert tee, a subconscious pregame to my later concert vibezzz⚡🎵⚡… Pairing a fun graphic tee with high waisted pants is the perfect option for this 30 second switch because they allow for a slightly slutty crop top or cool bra at night. Aka when I stuff my Yelle tee into my backpack 😝😇… Totally a throwback moment to middle school, taking off my sweater after mom dropped me off to reveal my spaghetti strap halter crop top hahah 😈- and yes, it still feels good, even when you’re 25. 😜
Anyway, nothing says “night” like black, lace and gold.🔥 Plus, knowing my sexy nightlife was hidden under my daytime tee…oooo yasssss…. talk about the power of a secret.😏 I always go for a sneaker at a concert too, standing room only status requires a comfortable platform for which to dance. 👯
Here I go tonight for round 2, but really going on round 200!! 🔜🎵🎶🍻💫
Shop these concert inspired graphic tees (because duh you need a fun shirt to get you in the music mood):
