I especially LOVE discovering new bar/restaurants near Union Square because, let’s be real, 🙋 mama needs a D-R-I-N-K after all that dodging and weaving through the crazy crowds downtown. 🏃♀️😬🏃♀️🙏🍸 …and shopping is a frequent occurrence, whether or not its the holidays. 🤑😉
Burritt Room + Tavern is now at the 🔝 of my list for post shopping decompression 😴🛍 and festive holiday celebration! 🎉🎄🍾 Not only because it’s equally swanky as it is yummy, but also because it’s tucked away in the Mystic Hotel aka not overcrowded with shopping tourists ✔️, and (unlike tons of the other cheesy Union Square bars) the decor is on point! ✔️ Bar was poppin’ with a live band and cool crowd too! 😎🎶🍸🍾
I was lucky enough to enjoy a 4-course dinner there just because… #thisishowweburritt, so I actuallyyy have a pretty good handle on the menu now (more deets at the bottom)! I’ll pretty much say yes to any charcuterie plate, but the Burritt Room’s was one of my favorite by farrrr. 🙌🧀🧀🧀❤️ Likeeee smoked Italian burrata & beer infused bratwurst?? Come to mama! There’s also an oyster plate, which I’m typically not a huge fan of, but the grapefruit slices and caviar on top of each were so enticing I tried one…and liked it!
They’re also coming it in hot with their bar program. Superb craft cocktails and a heavier influence on craft beers (score!!) – just ask your server and they’ll pair you a delicious beer with your meal! 🍺🍽 We had an Almanac Blueberry Sour with our seared Venison Tatake and it was next level! 👍👍 But after four courses of out of the box menu items, crazy flavors and so much deliciousness my tummy was all like 🙅🙅🙅😛
I had a pretty unforgettable experience at the Burritt Room, and can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area. I hope you check it out too! 👌💯
