Best of: Miami Beach

Going to Miami Beach means pretending your the newest cast member of Baywatch in your sexiest swimsuit as you prance onto that strip of sand. But when you head to the airport, reality sets in and you realize you’re nothing but a dark dried up raisin (in lots of white linen😜)….right? Wrong! Ohhhhh yes thats part of it, but being such a tropical climate, Miami is not always the sun soaked place you might imagine.

Yet, oogling over the pretty pastels and art deco signage like on a kid with their eyes Skittles for the first time only lasts so long 😁. So, what to do when its not beach frizzle fry weather… ? Shop and drink! Or actually drink then shop (and drink drink drink). 🍷🛍 Yes, preferably in that order. It makes the money spending more tolerable. 🤑 Here are my favorite spots to accomplish South Beach with only one regret: your hangover.

 

EAT

Villa Azur – Part restaurant, part club, Villa Azure pops offffffff (mainly on Thursday and Friday nights). Not only will you have the best meal of your life but you can dance in-between courses right at your table. Shots coming from a sparkling R2D2 dolls (and even a lil salsa to Justin Bieber) left me speechless.🍸💎🍸

Milos– If you don’t like fish well then I can’t talk to you anymore… JK – but def don’t go here if you don’t cause its whats on the menu at this unbelievably delicious upscale greek restuarant. 🐟🦀🐟 Also one of my top meals EVER except don’t make the same mistake I did and take a sherry shot out of a shrimp head – gag worthy, yet unforgettable moment. 😝

La Sandwicherie – here to save all your late night drunchies, this little French gem makes MASSIVE sandwiches with about every topping you can dream of, so yummy. 😋 Go hammered but not too hammered that you leave the sandwich bedside only to wake up smelling its leftovers. fail. 😁😁

DRINK

La Piaggia – a SERIOUS rosé drinking zone on Sundays from 2-6pm – it’s prime time. 👌🏼 People watch the latest and greatest in plastic surgery, euro trash, big families and kids way to young to be dressed like a yachtsman. 👀 Go with a crowd and get the jeroboam size bottle (yes, bigger than a magnum) trust, if you don’t you’ll have the biggest bottle envy of your life!🙏🏼🍷🍷🍷

The Delano – Awesome hotel bar with purple and blue lighting that make you feel like your one classy bitch and a pool that spans for days. 💁🏼🍸 Grab an espresso martini here to wake you up before a NIGHT on the town.

Smith & Wollensky – Right on the water your eyes will never get bored here. Stare into the eyes of your lover at a waterside table, or watch the massiveeee cruise ships float by, or the gay man rollerblading by with his pink dressed fifi dog on a leash..this list goes on and on…and so does their drink menu. 😎🌊

Juvia – I’m a total sucker for rooftop bars, but who isnt?! Aka you gotta check this place out. Hard to get a reservation but grab a drink and enjoy the glorious views of Miami beach, cause you’re right in the heart of it.

Montey’s – live band ✔️, big drinks ✔️, watching the sun set behind the yachts in a semi trashy bar? ✔️✔️✔️ Sign me up!

 SHOP

The Webster – This store is every girls dream. 💖💖 Tucked away in an old hotel, The Webster has a hidden exclusive vibe (attracting many a celeb), with the coolest clothes in the entire world.  Pretty sure the cheapest thing in there is like $300 haha but that shouldn’t stop you from drinking champagne and playing dress up! 🍾😂 At least I have my $28 Webster cell phone case to remind me of everything I could never have, that and the tears I shed post Webster experience from heaven.🙌🏼🛍🙌🏼

Blanc Du Nil – solving all your vacation garb problems since well…forever. The Chases are freakin obsessed with linen and this place delivers! Literally never seen so much white in one place and for great prices too!! A total must for any Miami Beach vacay.👏🏼👏🏼🌴☀️

Lincoln Rd. – a walking only street that has every shop you could want! From flashy, latin stores, to black and minimal. From upscale to souvenir with plenty of outdoor restaurants in-between, you could prob just hit this road and call it a day.

STAY

The Royal Palm – The first hotel in Miami Beach, with still one of the coolest designs. Totally giving you that white on white vibe but the inside is modern and sleek with a midcentury modern feel. 👇🏼 WOW that was a mouthful of good things at once.

The Raleigh – UM everything and more that you’d want in a South Beach hotel. This place nails the Miami vibe with the coolessssst pool design I’ve seen. I hate to say it but YES this hotel is soooooo “young, hip, and cool” I drool. 😍
