Another home run from my top brewers, Prairie Artisan Ales 💗, annndd its called the Birthday Bomb!🎈💣 Coincidence? I think NOT! They must’ve known my birthday was tomorrow and made this justtttt for ME 👍😄👍 OH yes of course thats it.
TASTE TEST: No foam, barely carbonated. Chocolate, slightly sweet but not as bad as I thought it’d be. Coffee or really more like a caramel latte, err frappacinno. Yes, caramel/toffee notes for sure. Like a milk dud. Definitely reminiscent of cake🍰… princess cake? or wishful thinking. Can taste the high alcohol on the finish, feel the mouth heat.
Best part about this beer is that it’s soooo smooth…and drinkable!🌟🌟🌟 Most beers with this high of alcohol are super heavy/sweet/intense…same with many imperial stouts in general, but the Birthday Bomb shreds those stereotypes. This one is all balanced, smooth and most importantly, dessertly delicious. Acutally no, most importantly MYYYYY Birthday Bomb Beer! 😜🍺
