The Rattlesnake


One of Beretta’s signature drinks, The Rattlesnake is perfectly pleasing on the first sip.๐Ÿนโ˜บ๏ธย Who am I kidding, it was THE BOMB.ย I actually shocked myself at how good it is and how easy it is to make – just 4 ingredients and a 5 min prep time.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ฏย Oh and I’ve finally broken the barrier in using egg whites, woooo! So clearly, I’m TOTALLY a pro bartender now.๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Šย And guess what?!?? Using egg whites is WAYย less scary then it seems and ups your cocktail game by like 13046% …because lets be honest, that frothy top isย what you go to the “real” bar for.ย ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜œย So please please, don’t be scared and try it out with me!ย ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ˜„

Ingredients (makes 1):

2 0z rye whiskey
1ย egg white
1 oz fresh lemon juice (1 lemon)
1/2 oz agave
Angostura bitters


  1. Pour rye, egg white, lemon juice, and agave into shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds – yes 20 whole seconds. You need to break up the egg white and get the drink nice and frothy
  3. Double strain into a coupe and garnish with a lemonย peel and a few dashes of bitters
