Rosé Sangria

sangria1

Looking for a light, refreshing drink this summer? Who isn’t! 😋 LOVE love rosé wine but need a break from the copious amounts you’ve been drinking already?! Who doesn’t! Personally, after 3 days of rosé poolside I can get a little sick of it…and this rose sangria recipe is my perfect solution.👍 This twist on the sunshine wine is arguably better 🙊 for a few reasons:

  1. Lighter, colder, more refreshing 💦
  2. More booziness 🍸😛🍸
  3. Pretty fruity garnishes ☺️🍋 🍓

I love sangrias in all its forms, but when I realized I could make a rosé sangria I felt dumb for not thinking of it earlier, like duhhhhh!! So easy to make, great for backyard parties or sipping while tanning by the pool (or for tomorrow’s 4th of July festivities 💃😉), it only makes sense this would be THE drink for summer.☀️🙌🍹

Ingredients:

1 bottle rosé wine
1 cup St. Germaine
1/4 cup vodka
2 grapefruit
1 lemons
1 pack raspberries
Soda Water

Process:

  1. Pour wine, elderflower liqueur, vodka and raspberries into pitcher
  2. Cut 6 grapefruit wheels and the entire lemon into wheels and add to pitcher. Then squeeze juice from the other grapefruit into the pitcher.
  3. Refrigerate pitcher for at least 1 hour
  4. When ready to serve, add some ice to the pitcher (do not fill, so sangria doesn’t water down).
  5. Pour into glasses on ice 3/4 full, top off with soda water and stir a couple times. Garnish with 3 raspberries and a grapefruit slice

Rose sangria recipe FTW! Hope everyone has a great 4th of July tomorrow (make this drink!!😆👌) and Happy Sippin’ Sunday! ☀️🍹
