Drink Here: Quixote Winery

Really, anytime of the year is appropriate to go wine tasting because tasting wine is always appropriate! (Deep thoughts by Kendall) 😝😝 No joke wine tasting is ACTUALLY my favorite thing to do (I know…shocker…from this booze hound) but it’s just the perfect way to spend a weekend, every time.🙌 I thought I had Napa covered until I found this gem of a winery – have you seeeeeeen anything like it?!?! First time my eyes BULGED in Napa on something other than a heavier pour. 👀 🍷

Quixote Winery, hidden in the hills of the Stags Leap District, is an architectural (and lets be honest, photo taking) marvel! Very reminiscent of Gaudi’s eccentric work in Barcelona, this winery was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser who not only did the owner have to literally track down for 10 years off some boat to do the project but it’s Hundertwasser’s only piece in the United States.

They are primarily a Petite Sirah house, so if you’re looking for a light french rosé you wont find it here! 😁 To be honest, I’m not a huge Sirah fan so their wines are fine but not making me cry joy or anything. But I would come back any day just for the insanely unique experience and environment. If you want a little “off the beaten path” atypical Napa excursions then Quixote Winery is your spot!! 🍷☀️🍷
