Mountain Climber…Sorta

Lake Tahoe is all about striking that balance between comfort & style…functional & decorated. Just stylish enough but not so stylish that all the mountaineers and Tahoe veterans are looking at you like  👀  👀  👀 I’ve grown up my whole life heading to this lake haven, so I learned this early on and have perfected my Tahoe recipe:  denim, bandanas, and baseball caps. 👌☀️

tahoe3Solid pair of denim is SO crucial & always appropriate. I gravitate towards a slightly slouchy denim short to get that laid-back casual look on lock orrrrr a high waisted pair cause you can wear it with just a swimsuit and actually look rad, not slutty. 👊

Baseball caps, once so nerdy, have made a comeback with the rebranded name “dad hats” and I’m all for it! Besides the obvious functional benefits, dad hats totally add a nostalgic/vintage vibe to your ‘fit. Best way to find the coolest one? Raid the old cabin your staying in but if that’s not an option you can shop my favorites below: 😜

A bandana, trendy for some time now… is the perfect accessory for an outdoorsy any summer look. My picks for “above average” bandanas:

Useful and stylish, bra tops can add a much needed pop of color or print layer under a loose tank anddd they got your back when your friends decide to do an impromptu trail hike haha woo! 🗻🏃

I hope everyone gets to make it up to Lake Tahoe this summer! But if you’re not nearby, hopefully somewhereeeeee outdoorsy, and don’t forget your cap and bandana…aaannd to roll around in the dirt a bit. 😉
